The study makes an important contribution to understanding the preconditions, barriers and opportunities for implementing the WPS Agenda in ATU Gagauzia. Its main value lies in the fact that it brings together an analysis of the framework for implementing the WPS Agenda, the human security perspective, the experiences of local actors, and the results of the participatory activities carried out within the project. Thus, the study can serve as a basis for future initiatives in training, consultation, institutional cooperation, gender-sensitive local policies and community mechanisms to promote women’s participation in peace and security processes.
