The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova adopted a decision on the creation of the Working Group to ensure the legislative provisions of the Republic of Moldova in relation to the special status of the ATU Gagauzia.
Considering the need for the continuous modernization of the legislation of the Republic of Moldova and taking into account the recommendations of the OSCE High Commissioner for National Minorities and the Council of Europe, as well as the provisions of the European Charter of Local Self-Government, on November 15, 2015 the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova adopted a decision on the creation of a Working Group to ensure, within the constitutional norms, the functionality of the autonomous territorial unit of Gagauzia and of the legislative provisions of the Republic of Moldova in relation to the special status of ATU Gagauzia.
