During 2017, the Working Group on Gagauzia (PWG) met for several working sessions. Following these meetings, 24 decisions were approved. The PWG members discussed and approved draft laws on sustainable solutions regarding the harmonization of the national normative framework and that of ATU Gagauzia, the tasks of ATU Gagauzia in the cultural fields of libraries, museums, etc. During the meetings 7 decisions were approved on the following topics:
- DECISION No. 1, May 30, regarding the examination of the draft law no. 354 from 17.08.2016, no.318 from 15.07.2016, no.319 from 15.07.2016, elaborated by the Working Group.
- DECISION No. 2, May 30, regarding the formation of a group of experts in order to elaborate sustainable solutions regarding the harmonization of the national normative framework and that of ATU Gagauzia.
- DECISION No. 3 and Annex, June 9, regarding the approval of proposals for delimiting the attributions of ATU Gagauzia for cultural activities in the field of libraries.
- DECISION No. 4 and Annex, June 9, regarding the approval of proposals for delimiting the attributions of the ATU Gagauzia for cultural activities in the field of museums.
- DECISION No. 10 and the Annex, July 17, regarding the approval of proposals regarding the delimitation of the tasks of ATU Gagauzia in the draft law on the regime of tombs and war memorial works.
- DECISION No. 11 and Annex, October 4, regarding the approval of the proposals regarding the delimitation of the tasks of ATU Gagauzia in the draft law for amending and completing the Law on public monuments no. 192 of September 30, 2011.
- DECISION No. 12 and Annex, December 13, regarding the approval of the Roadmap of the Working Group for ensuring, within the constitutional norms, the functionality of ATU Gagauzia and the legislative provisions of the Republic of Moldova in relation to the special status of ATU Gagauzia for 2018.
