The new edition of the Gagauzia Dialogue Newsletter covers the period May–August 2026 and presents key activities and developments implemented within the project. The edition highlights progress in multilingual education (MLE), including the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between CMI and the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, the development of a national network of trainers in MLE, and the exchange of international expertise from South Tyrol, Romania and Estonia.
It also features the findings of the study “The Role of Women in Peace Processes: Needs and Prospects for ATU Gagauzia”, focusing on women’s meaningful participation in peacebuilding and decision-making processes. Another key area covered in this edition is local public administration reform, including expert discussions, analytical studies and academic perspectives on reform and its implications for ATU Gagauzia.
The newsletter also includes highlights from the CMI Annual Report 2025, reflecting CMI’s broader international work and continued commitment to dialogue, mediation, and sustainable peace.
