Policy development workstream within the Gagauzia Dialogue project had the main purpose to work with the Gagauz authorities to build stronger capacities in policy development and a clear vision for the autonomy in the policy areas of tourism, education, and culture, as an important step towards clarifying competencies and implementing them effectively.
To support this aim a Policy Development Task Force composed of representatives of the Gagauz authorities and independent specialists has been established to manage the process of developing Gagauzia’s policy strategies in the three target areas: Education, Tourism and Culture.
As a result, the Strategic Program for education development in Gagauzia was developed.
