The purpose of this analytical study is to develop an analysis of the potential consequences and risks that may arise during the implementation of the administrative-territorial reform for the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia, to assess potential scenarios, and to develop practical recommendations resulting from the reform aimed at preserving and protecting the autonomy’s powers, its economic interests, and the rights of local public administration. The analytical study was prepared by expert Vitali Chiurcciu as part of the Civic Dialogue Platform in the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia and the “Gagauzia Dialogue” project.
