Formulating clear policy goals of the autonomy in the areas of devolved competencies was determined by the Parliamentary Working Group to be one of the vital prerequisites for efficient and responsive implementation of policies in the specific sectors of devolved competencies. Policy Development Task Force was established in 2019 within the Policy development workstream of the project Gagauzia Dialogue, to work with the Gagauz authorities to build stronger capacities in policy development and a clear vision for the autonomy in the policy areas of tourism, education, and culture.
In close cooperation with national and Gagauz authorities, involving international experts the Strategic Program on tourism development in ATU Gagauzia was developed.
